Yes, I've been to every bloody one and I swear this will be the last :) <\/em><\/p>\n This time I am assured there will be:<\/em><\/p>\n No rubber chicken<\/em><\/p>\n No dodgy awards<\/em><\/p>\n Lots of buyers<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/li>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n In fact, with the industry enjoying something of a revival<\/a>, this should prove to be an interesting experience, with focus on the core elements of HR operations: payroll, benefits, recruiting, talent management and HR\n<\/p>\n Other things I am looking forward to (with baited breath) are:<\/p>\n Naomi's Bloom's<\/a> Brazen Hussies<\/em>, sponsored by CaliberPoint (will they replace the vol-au-vents with Samosas<\/a>?)<\/p>\n Convergys' annual cocktail party (only time I can ever get anyone from Convergys to buy me a drink)<\/p>\n The Industry Leaders Panel<\/a>, featuring Christian Baader<\/a> and Mary Sue Rogers being interrogated by Elliot Clark<\/p>\n Lunch with Keith Strodtman<\/a>, HROs' smoothest man<\/p>\n\n
\ntechnology. They even recruited yours' truly to talk about the latest trends in the BPO industry, and the important role of HR in broader BPO engagements.
