{"id":1227,"date":"2013-08-22T15:01:00","date_gmt":"2013-08-22T15:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/projects\/horsesforsources\/things-that-irk-in-2013_082213\/"},"modified":"2013-08-22T15:01:00","modified_gmt":"2013-08-22T15:01:00","slug":"things-that-irk-in-2013_082213","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.horsesforsources.com\/things-that-irk-in-2013_082213\/","title":{"rendered":"Things that irk&#8230; the 2013 edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_14164\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14164 \" title=\"clearly_irked\" src=\"http:\/\/www.horsesforsources.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/clearly_irked.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"306\" height=\"283\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Are you irked?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>For those of you who think they&#8217;ve escaped being outed as a public irritant, it&#8217;s time we put you back in your place&#8230; Here are the latest irritations plaguing our world today:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">People who buy iPads and never use them.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">People who not only bought an iPad, but ensured they bought the 64 gigabyte, retina display model for about $850&#8230; just to check their gmail occasionally and read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.people.com\/\">people magazine<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">People who spend inordinate amounts of time scheduling a 30 minute conference call&#8230; then reschedule at the last minute.<\/li>\n<li>People who spend inordinate amounts of time scheduling a 30 minute conference call&#8230; then don&#8217;t show up for it.<\/li>\n<li>Germany shutting down for the entire month of August.<\/li>\n<li>People who insist on using their webcam on skype&#8230; at 8.00 AM.<\/li>\n<li>People who send out emails when they are clearly three sheets to the wind.<\/li>\n<li>People who use Foursquare to announce they just checked in at JFK&#8230; on Facebook&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>People who constantly complain they are always just soooo busy.<\/li>\n<li>People who get paid wads of money and seemingly don&#8217;t do <em>anything.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>American news channels.<\/li>\n<li>People who get paid scandalously low wages and seemingly do <em>everything.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>France shutting down for the entire month of August.<\/li>\n<li>People who get paid well, but constantly complain they are <em>underpaid.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>People who are really well organized and get boatloads of work done between 9 and 5, and never work evenings or weekends&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>People who are just really, really lazy and complain how tough they have it.<\/li>\n<li>People who just lie, lie, lie and lie until they believe it themselves (ugh!).<\/li>\n<li>People who just talk, talk, talk, talk&#8230;. and never <em>listen<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>British public holidays.<\/li>\n<li>People who clearly spend 95% of their productive time stalking people on Facebook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There you have it &#8211; now go and irk someone \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you irked?
